ATC Recording - Complete Solutions

Record

Our AudioPC product can record data from a wide range of sources including VCCS’s, radios, digital/analog telephony, primary and secondary radar, IP interfaces, serial data, CCTV, X Servers and ATC Controllers screens, and all in a single recorder. Our Controller Workstation Position (CWP) at-the-glass screen capture solution utilizes specifically developed compression technology to provide system independent, ICAO compliant, radar recording with manageable data requirements. The recorded data can be stored locally on fault tolerant RAID solutions, archived to removable media and / or stored centrally on networked attached storage (NAS) devices. By combining RAID storage technology with AudioSoft’s mission critical heart beat health monitoring technology, SNMP communication and Built in Test (BIT) facilities, the recording system can be left unmanned with notification of alarms delivered to the designated supervisor or maintenance personnel.

Analyze

In the event of an incident data can be rapidly located through the powerful built in database search facilities and AudioSoft’s unique GUI which has been specifically developed by ATC operators. Synchronized replay of audio with radar and/or the ATC operators screen is delivered either locally at the recorder or on LAN multi media workstations. The radar data can be replayed back to the radar display or onto a desktop PC. Incident data can then be ‘locked’ on the RAID systems and additional copies made to removable media for replay in standard CD/DVD players using windows media player. To further simplify the investigation process AudioSoft solutions include audit trail reports and either automated or manual transcription tools.

Visualize

AudioSoft have developed a specific interface to allow ATC users to quickly identify and interpret important data. With many tens or hundreds of recording channels and different data types there is a need to rapidly identify the important data in the event of an incident or during maintenance activities. By graphically presenting activity across selectable data channels against a common time frame it is possible to visualize at a glance the location of all activity. The user can then access any of the data by simply pointing and clicking on the activity for immediate replay. No more time consuming operations of sifting through channels to find the relevant data.
