Record

AudioSoft’s robust covert intelligence recorders acquire data from both packet-mode and switch-based circuits and work on switches without affecting their normal operation. By passively tapping the network at several locations and using state-of-the-art IP protocol filter technology to trigger recording of the selected call, content is routed to AudioSoft’s mediation device before being copied to the LEA. In close co-operation with the relevant authorities, special design consideration has been given to resilience and security with various levels of system redundancy, secure encryption algorithms to guarantee data integrity, administration of user access rights and audit trails to provide a tamperproof record of access. The software architecture and user interface have been designed in conjunction with the relevant authorities to ensure both the legal admissibility of the recordings and ease of operational use. The recorded data can be stored locally on fault tolerant RAID solutions and/or stored centrally on network-attached storage (NAS) devices with both a master and working DVD copy. By combining RAID storage technology with AudioSoft’s mission-critical heart beat health monitoring technology, recorders can be left unmanned with alarms delivered automatically to the designated supervisor/maintenance personnel.
