Alarm Monitoring Center Chooses AudioSoft Recorders

AudioSoft has been awarded a contract from Initial Electronic Security to supply its advanced digital telephone recorder solution AudioPC 2060i to the Alarm Monitoring Center of Initial in Manchester.

All alarm monitoring response calls to alarm protected sites and the police will be recorded by an AudioPC 2060i recorder which allows rapid search and retrieval of calls based on criteria such as date, time of call, customer account number, alarm response code and number.

Commenting on the award, Mr Peter Martin IT Operations Manager of Initial said, “The ability of AudioSoft to integrate call recording with the exacting database requirements of Initial was the principle reason AudioSoft were awarded the contract”.

He further stated “We were impressed with the technical sales support and integration offered by AudioSoft with their ActiveX API toolkit which allowed integrated searches to be performed, a feature that was lacking from competing systems that were evaluated”.
