Telephone Call Recording upgrade for A Quote Insurance

AudioSoft are pleased to announce another phased upgrade program for Digital Voice Recording Systems to an existing AudioSoft customer, A Quote Insurance - http://www.aquote.co.uk. With over 30,000 clients, and acting on behalf of over thirty other insurance companies, A-Quote have a significant market presence in the UK insurance industry.

The solution replaces an earlier AudioSoft recording system for use on an upgraded telephony infrastructure containing three ISDN30 trunks at Andover and the replacement of a competitor solution at Ipswich.

Installed in tandem with a BT Meridian Symposium system, the AudioPC-2090i system, a variant of our industry standard Audio-PC2000, offers full time ISDN30 trunk recording of inbound and outbound telephone calls over three ISDN30 trunks to provide business risk protection, monitoring of calls and rapid dispute resolution. A particular feature of the system is the ability to store more that two years total of calls on line for immediate access, something that competing recording systems based upon proprietary solutions were not able to offer.

Calls in progress, along with previous calls, can be searched by a range of selectable criteria and presented for replay within seconds. Calls can then be replayed at either the recorder or Windows PC workstations which are connected to either the Local or Wide Area Network. The system allows secure remote access and replay and is both fully modular and expandable.

Recorded calls can then be exported (in either audio .wav or textual .csv formats) as e-mail attachments to allow recordings and associated details to be sent outside of the organization.

Stored calls with tagged information are initially stored onto internal disk, then archived after a configurable period. Archiving is achieved by removable DVD-Ram disks or to logical drives such as SAN or NAS. This solution fully takes into account the customer’s requirement for scalability, reliable long-term operation, and assured support.
