UK Cabinet Office repeats trust in AudioSoft recording and transcription
At the core of central government in the UK, the Cabinet Office has chosen to upgrade its existing AudioSoft recording and transcription system as part of a mid-life upgrade of its IT infrastructure.
As included in the original system (in continuous service for four years), AudioWord backs up the AudioPC recorders with a powerful yet simple toolbar within Microsoft Word which provides transcription operators the ability to search and select an audio file, control the replay including speed and volume and enter time and database fields into the document without leaving the word processing application. Again, this facility and the integrity and stability of the AudioPC recording system as a whole were the key factor in the Cabinet Office’s choice.
Chris Twemlow, Business Development Manager with AudioSoft commented: “Our customer’s requirements are most certainly ‘mission critical’ in this case. We can be proud of the ongoing working relationships which contribute to a repeat purchase of this importance”.
