Integrated Police VoIP and Airwave recording: Cisco network contract award

We are pleased to announce the award to AudioSoft of an integrated IP and Tetra Airwave radio network recorder by the Dumfries and Galloway Police Force.

Combining AudioSoft’s solid experience in the development and supply of voice recording to over 75% of the UK’s Police Forces. This system extends AudioSoft’s UK Emergency Services Command and Control Center customer base and demonstrates our depth and range of development capabilities.

The 76 channel system combines legacy systems with the latest VoIP technologies. AudioSoft’s solution comprises AudioPC-1034 for analog and AudioPC-IPPC 1042 for VoIP recording and integrates Cisco 3.5.4 IP channel information. The overall system also incorporates streaming clients which enable HTML and MPEG files to be seamlessly replayed over LAN, WAN, or the internet by anyone with appropriate user privileges, saving significant time and cost involved in a surveillance recording deployment of this scale.
