AudioSoft introduces new digital covert recording system at Milipol 2005
AudioPC-Law Enforcement, the UK police standard for digital four channel audio/video surveillance recording, will be publicly introduced to European Law Enforcement agencies for the first time at Milipol 2005.
Already operational with significant number of UK police forces, the system records high bandwidth audio and high quality synchronized video in H.264 format, producing evidential material as DVD’s which has been accepted by UK Courts as rigorously examined and approved admissible material.
The recording systems are available as both a 19" rack mount system for fixed covert monitoring posts, and as a portable and briefcase combination for unobtrusive rapid deploy covert operations.
Commenting on the export initiative into Europe Chris Twemlow Business Development Manager said “The relaxation of country specific laws in Europe on the capability to carry out covert surveillance make our products operationally desirable to European Police Forces for the first time”.
AudioSoft will be aiming at Milipol 2005 to establish contact with European Distributors who already have a track record of success within surveillance markets; and also directly with Technical and Surveillance Units of European Police Forces who would deploy at an operational level.
