Venezuela via Canada: AudioSoft - your ATC partner for digital voice recording
In partnership with Solacom of Gatineau, Canada, AudioSoft are pleased to announce the supply of an Air Traffic Control Communications recording system of 120 channels in an AudioPC-1000 format to a third party civilian customer in Venezuela for the country’s main airport at Maiquetia (Caracas) - ‘Aeropuerto Internacional de Maiquetia -Simon Bolivar’.
This recording installation contract was a result of a direct request by the end user as part of an overall ATM system solution that utilizes AudioSoft advanced remote playback functionality as in use in an identical manner by existing AudioSoft customers in Brazil. The functioning system itself consists of 120 analog channels with a full (dual redundant) backup. Storage is RAID and currently stands at 300GB, and is of course expandable as required. Serial output is used to enable various synchronized playback options.
