Czech ANS repeats investment in AudioSoft recording for Air Traffic Controller training simulation system
AudioSoft are proud to announce that we are to re-supply the Air Navigation Service of the Czech Republic (Rizeni Letoveho Provozu CR, s.p.) with a second digital recording system for use within its new HIFI Air Traffic Simulator System at Jenec near Praha-Ruzyne airport.
Having undergone major expansion in operational capacity and air traffic nationwide, the Czech authorities required similar expansion to their training facilities in the new Integrated ATC Centre (IATCC).
The system was supplied via AudioSoft partner company CS-Soft of Praha - with regional offices in Brno and Ostrava. CS-Soft are a fully accredited supplier and Project Management company, serving the Czech Republic's aviation industry.
CS-Soft's Project Manager Mr.Martin Jelinek commented… “We were asked by the Air Navigation Service of the Czech Republic to look for a recording system with the full range of functions they required. It had to be capable of incorporating many channels and being controlled remotely from a second site using an API (Application Programming Interface). A further requirement was the capability to replay the recordings at variable speeds, moreover with pitch correction. AudioSoft’s was the only system which met these requirement, and the interface was specially written for our customer. Plus, we had already bought a system from AudioSoft five years ago, were confident of its operation and reliability, and did not want to waste time”.
