Ghanaian Civil Aviation Authority - recording contract award

AudioSoft are pleased to announce the supply of an initial 48 channel AudioPC-1000 recording system to the Ghanaian Civil Aviation Authority - http://www.gcaa.com.gh/

Initial supply is of a fully redundant (duplicated) system to Kotoka International Airport in Accra which interfaces with air traffic control VCCS operator positions. AudioPC interfaces with existing communications systems, and will capture all ground and pilot call and communication recordings. Replay to individual operator positions is initiated via network located management and control workstations. There are a further three locations which are being prepared for digital recording installation - Kumasi, Tamale and Sunyani. UPS units support the network across each site, with synchronized time sources.

The system will be supported and monitored both locally and remotely from England by the AudioSoft Maintenance and Support Team. This group of dedicated engineers also monitor AudioSoft systems for other remote customers such as the RAF, Royal Navy, Eurocontrol, and the Brazilian Air Force.
