AudioSoft extend national ATC recording network for GCAA, Ghana

AudioSoft are pleased to announce the extension of our contract with the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority. Having recently won a contract to supply the main national airport at Accra, we have now supplied a further 3 systems to Kumasi, Tomale, and Sunyani - each of 24 channels of mixed communications.

Comprehensive training of two weeks duration was delivered as part of this package. Unlike other non-european AudioSoft projects, this contract has not been fulfilled with the aid of local agent companies.

This current phase in the upgrade of Ghana's aviation infrastructure began back in 1990 with a study by the UK CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), which entailed the privatization of Accra and Kotoka airports.
