Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust - recording systems award

AudioSoft are pleased to announce our award to supply the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (Ymddiriedolaeth GIG Gwasanaethau Ambiwlans Cymru). This was won in the face of stiff competition against a full commercial and technical evaluation of suitable products on the market.

AudioSoft have been chosen as suppliers of recording of all communications across radio and telephone lines at three sites across the area of the Trust’s responsibility: Carmathen, Mamhilad / Church Village, and Llanfairfechan. The capacity of the systems at present stands at 48, 48, and 96 lines.

Key to purchasing decision was AudioSoft’s ability to record legacy radio and telephony systems, as well as provide an assured upgrade path including the roll-out of the Airwave / O2 digital radio system in 2007. AudioSoft were confident of quoting a fully competitive price for a comprehensive solution which included fully redundant hardware, and 24/7/365 support cover
