AudioSoft - Awards

Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2006 Winner

AudioSoft earn international business performance award: Europe, Middle East, Asia

AudioSoft are proud to receive yet another public recognition of our international business performance. With previous rankings in the Deloitte & Touché Tohmatsu Fast 50 and Sunday Times Tech Track awards stretching back to 1999, we have now placed for both 2005 and 2006 within the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. This award recognizes continuous revenue growth performance over a five year period within a broadly defined area of technology - from internet to life sciences, from computers to semiconductors – and covers both public and private companies.

“Because Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA measures sustained revenue growth over five years, being one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in EMEA is an impressive achievement,” said Eric Morgain, partner in charge of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA program. “AudioSoft has proven that its leadership has the vision and determination to grow in difficult conditions”.

This award is particularly pleasing for us, as it underlines our consistent year-on-year growth and is a true representation of the international scope of our business. With growth quoted at 130% over five years, and covering international markets (we have been particularly active in the Middle East and USA in recent years) it restates in bold form the reasons why we consistently achieve customer satisfaction and revenue figures above the industry averages:

The Sunday Times / Microsoft Tech Track 2004

Fast-growing AudioSoft has entered the latest Sunday Times / Microsoft Tech Track 100 - the annual league table that ranks the UK’s top one hundred unquoted technology companies by sales increases. The Gloucestershire-based company develops software that enables customers to digitally record, retrieve, and analyze voice and data information. Customer sectors include call centers, police forces, armed forces, and air-traffic control agencies. Sales have grown an impressive 55% a year.

This latest ranking reflects AudioSoft’s solid international reputation and growing client base that ranges from BAE Systems and Thompson CSF to The Cabinet Office and The Bank of England. AudioSoft systems are deployed throughout the world with a strong presence in the air traffic control industries of East and West Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, and Africa.

“We are very proud to be ranked amongst the top growing 100 technology companies within the UK, particularly during a tough trading period within our industries,” a company representative said: “The Tech Track ranking is a ringing endorsement of our business strategy and advanced digital data recording systems developed for specialist international markets. With increasing sales and strong projected growth in our target sectors, we are well positioned to build on this success with sustainable long term expansion.”

Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50

The awards were initiated in the US to recognize, reward and raise the profile of the fastest growing technology companies, and within the UK and Ireland recognize the fastest growing and most dynamic technology companies across seven regions.

Established in 1995, AudioSoft’s achievements reflect sustained demand for our advanced PC-based recording and playback systems, as well as a recognition of our ability to develop and support these products in the field. It is also a measure of our powers of innovation that much of our consistently strong growth has been achieved during severe market conditions across IT sectors.

A spokesman for AudioSoft commented: “This prestigious award reflects the efforts and achievements from the entire team and our ongoing commitment to research and development into new technologies and products to stay ahead. Technology companies are key to the future economy and employment growth in the South West and Wales and we are delighted to be at the forefront of this expansion.”
